Sharin Baldwin has been invited as a Keynote Speaker to share her research findings from the New Dad Study (NEST) at the national ‘Talking Dads’ conference in Blackpool on 17th July 2019. Sharin will be joined by other speakers including Professor Paul Ramchandani, Mark Williams, Dr Anna Machin and Dave Devenney.
This conference follows directly after Men’s Mental Health Week and Fathers Day, and will focus on the importance of Dads and male role models in early child development, families and wider community life. Together with the conference’s chair Professor Paul Ramchandani from University of Cambridge and also Mark Williams author of ‘Daddy Blues’, the Blackpool Centre for Early Child Development has developed the event to bring together an audience of local and national practitioners and academics.
